Bright, alluring saris may distract you from the serious task of shopping and tasting our way along Devon Avenue!  We'll learn about the history of this Chicago treasure--known by Indians around the world as the place to shop and eat for Indians in the Midwest. We start our tour at Patel Brothers to learn about the spices and dry goods typical of Indian cooking. Next, we visit a shop for cooking equipment, tableware, incense and various curiosities. We'll conclude with a visit to a snacks and sweets shop
